ALL LIE LED

Read across or down, the same three words repeat, forming a simple word square centered on humanity’s deception and need for redemption. Nine letters invite a meditation on the human condition:

ALL have been LED to believe the LIE.
By the LIE, ALL have been LED astray.

Together, the words recall the serpent’s deception in Eden, humanity’s exchange of truth for a lie, and the confession that all have gone astray. They invite us to recognize ourselves within that story: our distrust of God, our misplaced desires, and our need for grace.

At the center of the composition, LIE forms a cross, holding ALL and LED together around the deception that turns humanity away from God.

As a companion to SON | ONE | NEW, this square names the condition into which Christ brings salvation. Together, the two pieces trace a movement from deception to truth, from wandering to reconciliation, and from the fall to new creation.

A small visual reminder of our shared need for redemption:

ALL.
THE LIE.
LED ASTRAY.
