SON ONE NEW

Read across or down, the same three words repeat, forming a simple word square centered on the person and work of Christ. Nine letters invite a meditation on the gospel:

Through the SON we are saved;
Through the SON we enter God’s presence.

He is the ONE, the way to the Father,
The ONE through whom we draw near.

By his Spirit we are made NEW,
As we await all things made NEW.

Together, the words trace the movement of the gospel: salvation through the Son, reconciliation with the Father, renewal by the Spirit, and the Christian hope of a creation made new.

At the center of the composition, ONE forms a cross, holding SON and NEW together around the confession of the one God revealed through Christ.

As a companion to ALL | LIE | LED, this square offers a meditation on God’s answer to humanity’s deception: salvation and renewal through Christ. Together, the two pieces trace a movement from deception to truth, from wandering to reconciliation, and from the fall to new creation.

A small visual reminder of the gospel:

THE SON.
THE ONE.
MAKING ALL THINGS NEW.
